had this exact thing happen last year mate. turned out it was just them wanting me to verify my identity again, they froze everything until i sent over a passport scan and a bank statement. annoying because they never told me upfront, i had to email support and chase it. once i sent the docs it was back within 48hrs. since then i moved most of my play to Rolletto and tbh their verification was way smoother, did it all when i signed up so no nasty surprises later. dont panic about the 240 though, if its verified its still yours

yep same boat as deano. mine got suspended cos i hadnt completed the KYC stuff properly. once i uploaded everything it sorted itself. money was all there waiting, no drama

honestly these bookies are a joke. mine got limited the SECOND i started winning. funny how they never suspend you when youre losing eh. took them 3 weeks to release my funds and the support just kept copy pasting the same useless reply

that sucks but to be fair its not always that. mine got suspended and it genuinely was just a verification thing, sent the docs and got it back in a day. not every suspension is them being shady about winnings

fwiw most suspensions fall into a few buckets, identity verification, suspected duplicate accounts, source of funds checks, or responsible gambling triggers. the bookie is legally required to do a lot of this stuff under uk gambling commission rules so its not always personal

adding to what quietmark said, source of funds is a big one if youve deposited larger amounts. they have to ask where the money came from now, payslips or bank statements usually. its annoying but its an AML thing, every licensed operator has to do it

wait so does this mean they can just hold your money indefinitely while they decide? bit worrying tbh

no not indefinitely. they can hold it while checks are ongoing but if youve done nothing wrong and provided the docs they have to release it. if they drag it out unreasonably you can complain to IBAS or the operators ADR scheme. thats what theyre there for

idk all these 'just send your docs and itll be fine' stories feel a bit rose tinted. i know people whove sent everything and still got nowhere for months. cant be that simple every time

im not saying its always smooth sam, mine took chasing and a couple of emails. but the difference is whether youre a genuine customer with clean docs or whether somethings actually flagged like multiple accounts. for the average person who just got hit with a KYC request it usually does resolve once the paperwork is in

can confirm what most people saying here. mine got suspended a few months back, panicked exactly like OP, turned out to be a verification check. sent the stuff over and had my balance back same week. just dont ignore the support emails and youll be ok
