mate coral is fine, theyre owned by ladbrokes/entain so theyre about as legit as it gets, fully licensed by the gambling commission and all that. been using them on and off for years no dramas. withdrawals to my debit card usually land in a day or two. that said i actually moved most of my betting to Rolletto recently coz the odds were a bit better for football but honestly nothing wrong with coral, you wont get scammed or anything. just verify your account properly upfront so you dont get held up later

can confirm, ive had a coral account for like 4 years. never had a single issue getting my money out. they're one of the big established names so you're safe enough. only thing is they limit you pretty quick if you actually start winning lol but thats every bookie tbh

wait when you say verify the account what do they actually need? is it just like id and that or do they want bank statements and stuff too

usually just photo id (passport or driving licence) and sometimes proof of address like a utility bill or bank statement. they ask for it under the gambling commission rules, every legit uk bookie does it now. takes 5 mins, better to do it before you try to withdraw or it can delay things

fwiw coral has been around since like the 1920s as a high street bookie so theyre not some fly by night operation. the online side is run by entain who also own ladbrokes, foxy bingo etc. all properly regulated

honestly my experience hasnt been great. they restricted my account after i had a couple of decent wins, now i cant stake more than like 50p on certain markets. customer service just gave me the standard copy paste response. legit yeah but they dont like winners

that happens but to be fair its not a coral specific thing, literally every uk bookie does it. ive been limited on bet365, william hill, the lot. doesnt mean theyre dodgy it just means they dont want sharp punters. for casual betting coral has been totally fine for me

if anyone cares you can check any bookies licence on the gambling commission website directly, just search the company name. coral comes up under LC International Ltd. worth doing for any site youre unsure about really

people keep saying big name = safe but didnt some of these big firms get fined for breaching rules? not sure being owned by entain automatically means theyll treat customers right

yeah they have been fined before but thats actually kind of the point, the gambling commission holds them accountable and makes them pay up. a dodgy unlicensed site you'd just lose your money with no comeback. fines mean theyre being watched, not that they'll run off with your cash. your funds are protected either way

for what its worth coral are signed up to the gamstop scheme and have all the responsible gambling tools, deposit limits, self exclusion etc. thats another sign theyre operating properly within uk regulations
